Brunch Time at Gypsy Den, Costa Mesa

It was one of those lazy Sundays. We had no plans, which was a bit strange, but happy to have nothing to do. Just relax. We decided to chill at one of our regular go-to places: The Lab Anti-Mall. Brunch at the Gypsy Den Cafe sounded great, so we went for it.

Cozy decoration, lots of paintings, rugs on the walls and bookshelves with enough books to spend hours reading next to a cup of coffee or a cold draft beer.

It’s hard to describe this place because it’s not only a coffee house, but also a meat, veggie and vegan friendly restaurant. We would eat here at anytime. Breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. It's always a good time.

We had an eggplant lasagna, a veggie burger with tortilla chips, and a delicious chai vanilla latte for dessert. Usually chai lattes are very spiced, but this one we ordered it with vanilla instead, which tasted incredible! It was even better than the regular one.

The Gypsy Den hosts open mic sessions every week, as well as acoustic concerts in their different Orange County locations: Costa Mesa, Santa Ana and Anaheim. Highly recommended.
