Exploring New Heights of Quality at Kéan Coffee

Roasted within hours of the moment it reaches your cup. This is how fresh coffee is at Kéan Coffee, and this is one of the reasons why we love it. But another reason why we like Kéan is because of its history and what that history means to the Orange County coffee community.

It all started with the Diedrich family's coffee heritage. Martin Diedrich founded the first coffeehouse in Costa Mesa, Diedrich Coffee, back in 1984. Today, Martin is considered to be one of the pioneers of the coffeehouse movement in the United States. For those of you who want to know more about the story of the Diedrich family and how Kéan was born, check out the About Us section on their site. It’s fascinating.

One of our favorite things on the menu is the Caffe Mocha. We love the espresso taste combined with dark chocolate. We enjoyed it with a spinach quiche.

Kéan roasts all of their coffees in-house starting with high quality Arabica beans to delivering flavorful cups of freshly roasted coffee into the tables of its visitors.
